Terms of service

These terms govern your use of Best Model, operated by Best Model. By creating an account you accept them.

The service

Best Model gives access to third-party language and image models through a chat interface and an OpenAI-compatible API, with optional web search and file reading. Answers can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. Verify important information before relying on it; the service is not legal, financial, medical or other professional advice.

Accounts

You need an account to use the service. Keep your credentials and API keys safe; you are responsible for activity under your account and keys. One person, one account: the new-user credit is granted once per person.

Balance and payment

The service is prepaid. You top up a balance and each request is charged against it at the prices published on the Pricing page at the time of the request. Prices may change; a change applies to requests made after it is published. The balance does not expire. Refunds are described in the refund policy.

Rate limits exist to protect the service; we may lower them for an account that strains it.

Acceptable use

You may not:

  • Use the service to violate law, including export and sanctions rules, or the rights of others.
  • Generate content that is illegal, or that the model provider's own usage policies forbid.
  • Share an account, resell access, or circumvent limits.
  • Attack, probe or overload the service.

Content

You keep the rights to what you upload and to the outputs you generate, subject to the model providers' terms and to the law. You are responsible for having the right to upload what you upload.

Availability and changes

We may change, add or withdraw models and features, and we may suspend accounts that breach these terms. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee it.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
